Success doesn’t happen overnight, and it requires constant reminders to stay on track. Even the most driven individuals occasionally lose sight of what it takes to achieve their goals. This is where REMINDERS come in—whether from a mentor, a book, or an inspiring quote. These prompts help us recalibrate our focus and reignite the motivation needed to stay on track.
The journey to success is never simple. It is filled with setbacks, distractions, and doubts. In these moments, REMINDERS serve as small but powerful nudges, helping us return to the fundamentals. When the road is hard, it's easy to forget that challenges are often a natural part of the process.
REMINDERS can help us stay mindful of the habits and mindsets that fuel success. A simple REMINDER to prioritize these habits—such as "focus on what you can control"—can shift our mindset and help us stay grounded in the things that matter most. I try to write something every day and share it on LinkedIn that I hope will serve as a REMINDER to others on the different steps needed for success. What many of my followers may not realize is that I write them not only for them, but for me as well. I am constantly trying to REMIND myself about the “steps to success,” and writing about them does that for me. What are you doing to get your REMINDERS … to keep you on track? Here are a few of my favorite REMINDERS:
· Say “No” to the things that don’t matter… so you will have time for things that do.
· Enthusiasm nourishes everyone. Share it every chance you get.
· Forgetting to say THANK YOU can cost you money and friends.
· This too, will pass.
· Your only true security in life is your ability to perform.
· Success is NEVER owned, it is rented, and the rent is due EVERY DAY.
· If you want to be successful … remember you are being judged by your actions.
· The most precious resource we have is TIME. You can’t buy it, stop it, save it,
make it, rewind it, use it again, and you can’t ever get it back.
· Small gestures can lead to big rewards! You will rise by helping to lift others.
· No one has ever made themselves great by making someone else feel small.
· Just remember … in every situation, there is an opportunity.
· Successful people seldom complain. It’s a waste of time.
· My attitude for life… I am either going to win or try again.
· Never argue with an idiot because they will bring you down to their level and
then beat you with experience.
Let me make one suggestion: Set aside a few minutes in your day to read a few reminders. Ultimately, we all need REMINDERS on how to succeed because success isn’t just about knowing what to do—it’s about consistently doing it, even when it’s hard to remember why. These REMINDERS help us stay aligned with our vision and maintain the persistence needed to turn our dreams into reality.
